Countdown to Yetebon....under 3 weeks to fly time.

This post goes out to all of you, our family, friends, co-workers, supporters and prayer teams to say thank you!

Thank you for listening to the still small Voice that nudges you to help.

So what’s with the boxes? This is one surgery department’s giving of medical supplies to travel to Yetebon. It started as one bag a week ago and ballooned into overflowing boxes lids open waiting for more. Each of us have a similar story of gracious generosity.

“The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of His bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the works of your hands.”

May you be blessed.

Meet the Team

We are a group of medical professionals and lay people from the Bay Area, who have been called by God to travel to Ethiopia and offer health care and community health education for two weeks in October.

Our travel dates are October 12 2019 to October 26 2019.  We fly from San Francisco to Addis Ababa the capital of Ethiopia then drive south West to the village of Yetebon.   The history of and services offered by Project Mercy in Yetebon can be accessed here:

You are being invited to follow our journey and as our friends, family and supporters we humbly ask for prayer and we will be updating you daily with on site news flashes and photos of your contact.

Our mission is health based but our purpose is to serve as Jesus served.  To this end we are opening our hearts to His Spirit and have been given the  theme of our two weeks of "LIVING HOPE".
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a LIVING HOPE through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God's power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.--1 Peter 1:3-5
Our Team all smiles and ready to go≥
