A word from Maddie
The last two days have been very special for the turtles.(the younger of the group:)) Yesterday Karis and I were able to observe in the OR, today Clara and Kal did. We all were heavily impacted by the beauty of operations. Some of us saw lump, some of us saw a baby being delivered, all of us saw a uterus (yes even Kal). We all have also seen beautiful kindergartners sing their ABC’s, our favorite part is when they say “no my no my ABC’S” and during vision tests they say H as “ehch”. It is so awesome to be kids helping kids! We have all felt God's presence within the OR and through the kid’s smiles. At the end of the day we return to start our homework once again.
